Map Pakistan

Pakistan, after Jordan, is the second Middle Eastern Country I traveled to.  I contracted with a local travel agent who helped me find another travel companion crazy enough to tour the country for about 2.5 weeks in December/January 2007/2008.  We explored the country from North to South except for Gilgit, the northernmost area.  It is inaccessible during the winter months due to the high mountains and an enormous amount of snow.  But up North there is mainly nature.  I was, as always, more interested in culture and politics, not to forget all the art-historical and archaeological treasures this country boasts.ET
